Thing #2-RSS

Wow!! This was a little tricker. At first, I thought the RSS feed attaches to the your blog itself. Ooops! After getting the hang of it, it was interesting & I learned something new.

1: I like the fact that you can get all your info in 1 place-you don't have to check each website/blog for the latest and greatest. Dislike: hmmmm, I need to work with it more. I will say that it was a bit frustrating when starting out however after working through the process, it seems fairly easy and straightforward.

2: I will definatly use this in my personal life as anything to make my life easier is much appreciated! It makes finding and reading info easier. As far as use in the library, I'd have to ponder that one. I am sure it would prove quite useful-create 1 place for staff (or even department) to find relevant info.

3:Great blogs? I need to spend more time to find them! This will be tomorrow's project.

Thing #1

Guess it would help to read directions.....
1. No experience w/blogs other than occasionally reading them.
2. Haven't sampled the other libraries blogs yet.....
3. No ideas yet...after see others, I'm sure I'll come up with something!
4. Blogs=good/bad? Interesting to see how others use them. Some frivolous, some useful. Jury is out. Will be able to give a better opioion when more familiar with them.

Ok, here is the blog I've created for Playtime 2.0. Little frustrating remembering the password however this is a new adventure! Book Diva is the nickname given me from a group of friends at one of my many jobs.
